U.S. Physicians who have completed residency or fellowship within the last 5 years can now take advantage of one of the following options. Please read carefully to determine which is right for you:


1) REDUCED TUITION RATES FOR VIVA & THE VEINS

  • Register under the "Early-Career Physicians" category and upload proof of residency or fellowship completion within the last 5 years
  • Do not register under this category if you plan to apply for the Early Career Leadership Program. Refunds will not be issued.


OR



2) EARLY CAREER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AND SCHOLARSHIP

  • Apply to join a select immersive program designed to elevate early career vascular physicians. Participants will:
    • Build confidence and excellence in clinical practice
    • Develop podium presence
    • Strengthen leadership potential
    • Engage directly with influential leaders in the vascular field
    • Expand professional networks
    • A select group of program attendees will have the opportunity to present a case on podium
  • Accepted participants will receive:
    • Free tuition for VIVA26
    • Roundtrip economy airfare
    • Up to 2 nights' hotel stay


APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS | Deadline June 25

Email the following documents to abstracts@viva-foundation.org:

  • Proof of training completion date (e.g., residency certificate)
  • CV
  • Statement of interest explaining your leadership goals in the vascular field (300 words or less)

NOTE: Applicants who are currently mid-residency or mid-fellowship should instead apply to the Physicians-in-Training Program.

The Early Career Leadership Program at The VEINS and VIVA 2025 brought together emerging leaders in vascular medicine for focused sessions on clinical excellence, leadership development, and professional growth. Throughout the week, participants strengthened podium presence, connected with mentors and peers, and engaged in interactive discussions designed to build confidence and shape the next generation of vascular innovators.
